The Petunia City Quilt Guild was established in 1989 in Dixon, Illinois. The Petunia City Quilt Guild purpose is to work together to further the interest of our members and community in the art of quilt making as well as share ideas and exchange methods on the construction of all types of quilts, garments and gifts. Membership is open to all.
The Guild currently meets on the first Monday of most months at 6:30 P.M., at the First Presbyterian Church, 110 East Third Street, Dixon, Illinois. ALL ARE WELCOME!
Please see the Current Year Posts and Current Year Programs list for the most updated information. You won’t want to miss it!
Guest fee is $5 (except for special occasions) and membership is $30/year payable at any meeting.
Monthly meetings include:
- Show and Tell time that showcase our members finished projects and/or a favorite tool or book.
- a speaker or a member presentation
- a business meeting
- an opportunity to network when we socialize and share refreshments
Our members are traditional quilters, modern quilters, and use hand or machine appliqué. A few of our members are long arm quilters and embroidery machine experts and all are generous in sharing skills.
A charity project is chosen each year. See charity project listing for current years information.
